Credits

The Pay-Per-Measurement system is founded on a credit-based model, where each credit represents one measurement, offering an efficient method to manage geodetic data measurement needs. The subscription model allows to pay exclusively for active devices, thereby not incurring costs for devices that are in stock and not currently in use.

Measurement definition

A single measurement within the service includes a completed data registration linked to an active project. It includes data collection, secure and efficient transmission, processing and calculations in the cloud, data storage, and finally, a presentation on the platform (or API data delivery).

Registration of a Reference Station is also a measurement – it happens every time the measurement in the project is done. Typically, each project has at least one Reference Station, though some projects may share a common Reference Station.

Measurements do not include data registrations from projects or devices that are paused or stopped.

SMS Alerts and Notifications

Projects with configured alerts in the Project → Alerts section can send SMS notifications to notify users in real-time. These are considered an additional value service. Because SMS delivery involves third-party costs, it is billed using the platform’s credit model:

  • Each SMS alert sent uses 1 credit from the main credit balance.

This allows users to stay informed about critical thresholds or issues — such as power failures, unexpected movements, or other events — without the need for constant manual monitoring.
