Parvamoti Alerts help project teams identify important changes early without manually checking dashboards after every measurement. When key measurements exceed defined thresholds, alerts are automatically triggered and delivered via email or SMS. This helps teams respond quickly to relevant project or device events.
How Alerts Work
Alerts are configured per project and are triggered when specific conditions are met. These can be related to the device (e.g. battery, location, data flow) or movement (e.g. displacement, height changes). You choose which alerts you want to track and how you want to receive them.
Alert Types
| Alert Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Device Health Alert | Monitors device battery voltage |
| Device Location Alert | Detects unexpected movement from the installed position |
| No Data Alert | Detects data transmission failures |
| Height Soil | Tracks vertical soil movement in Settlement Rod projects |
| Height Groundplate | Tracks vertical movement of the groundplate in Settlement Rod projects |
| Height Difference | Tracks vertical displacement in Object Monitoring and Landslides projects. |
| 2D Difference | Tracks horizontal movement in Object Monitoring and Landslides projects |
| 3D Difference | Tracks full 3D displacement in Object Monitoring and Landslides projects. |
| Water Level | Tracks the measured water level for different operational water-level monitoring use cases. |
Different comparison rules can be applied depending on the alert type. This allows users to monitor movement or value changes between consecutive measurements, over a selected period, against a selected date and time, or across the full project installation from the baseline measurement.
Notification Methods:
- Email: Available to all users.
- SMS: Optional. To receive SMS alerts, users must verify their phone number in their Profile settings.
